Game Review

The Elder Scrolls II - Daggerfall is an open-world single-player action RPG by Bethesda Softworks. It was released in 1996 on the PC. It's the second entry in the popular Elder Scrolls series and the first Elder Scrolls game to claim an M rating.

Like the predecessor The Elder Scrolls: Arena, Daggerfall is open-ended. No quest is required. You can use one of the premade classes or make your own. There is a spell creation system, an equipment enchantment system, and a political system. The game takes place on Tamriel, a fictional continent. The game map a whopping 161,600 square kilometers. The game features 750,000+ NPCs.

Daggerfall suffered from many bugs in its code upon release, bugs that have been solved later with patches. Despite this, Daggerfall was a revolutionary game, and it's still amazing. The sheer amount of things to do and places to ensure that you'll never be bored. The replay value is incredible, as you'll never be able to finish everything the game has for you to do (and much of it is randomly generated with each new game).

Daggerfall became freeware in 2009, celebrating fifteen years of Elder Scrolls.

The worst game of the series. Gameplay and combat are not good in this one. Arena was a good one and what can we say about a sequels of Daggerfall ... (WOW!)
