Game Review

Mega lo Mania is a real-time strategy game created by Sensible Software in 1991 for the Amiga and Atari ST. In 1992 and 1993 it was ported to DOS, Genesis and other platforms.

Designed by Jon Hare and Chris Yates (the founders of Sensible Software) it is a pretty unique game, an early example of god-game and RTS - in fact, it was released before the great success of Dune II: The Battle For Arrakis. It is also one of the earliest examples of strategy games with technology tree. All of this keeping the typical look & feel, and sense of humor, of the games created by the people behind Cannon Fodder and Sensible Soccer.

Considered a classic and one of the best games created for the Amiga, Mega lo Mania is somehow unknown to the majority of the players. But it's a very addictive game that everybody should try.
