Game Review

CarVup (or Car-Vup) is a platformer created by Core Design for Amiga and Atari ST, released in 1990-1991.

The game is a sort of remake of the Jaleco coin-op City Connection (also known as Cruisin'). The gameplay is almost identical, even if the graphics are different. With a small car, you have to jump on the different platforms and drive on them to activate/paint all the elements of the platforms. You will also have to find your friends and save them. Of course, there will be some enemies to avoid, to make your life more complicated.

Nice cartoon-style graphics, eight different worlds, 48 levels, simple gameplay, and the absence of complicated puzzles make this game perfect for some hours of simple entertainment.
