Game Review

Championship Manager 93 is the second chapter of the popular series of football management sim created by Paul and Oliver Collyer, founders of Sports Interactive. The game was released for PC and Amiga by Domark.

Compared to the first version published in 1992, CM93 introduced many improvements, including the use of real player names, injury time, more in-match commentary. The game was also completely developed from scratch, since the previous version written in BASIC was too slow. Championship Manager 93 was much faster and feature rich.

Despite the user interface was still very simple, the game was the first one to show the real potential of the series.

The same engine was used to create Championship Manager Italia '95 and was replaced only in 1992 by Championship Manager 2.
