Game Review

Thunder Blade is an arcade released by Sega originally in 1987 where the player has to control an helicopter, the Gunship Gladiator, to destroy all enemies using guns and missiles and defeat the dictator.

The arcade was famous because it introduced for the first time a feedback via the joystick, that vibrates during gameplay.

Thunder Blade was ported to many platforms, including Sega Master System, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, MSX, ZX Spectrum and more. The Amiga version, released in 1988, was developed by Tiertex.
