This patch applies to "Run the Gauntlet" (c) 1989 Ocean - 2 disks.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Slave requires WHDLoad V10+.
- Game requires 512k chip mem (+1.5Mb other memory for preload option)

FEATURES:
- Full load from HD
- Protection removed
- Instructions included
- Empty DBF loops fixed
- Blitterwaits inserted (x49)
- Snoop bugs fixed - move.b #1,$bfe201 (x5)
- Ability to skip the annoying intro speech (press fire button)
- Access fault in end sequence fixed (andi.w #$ff,d0 -> andi.w #3,d0)
- RomIcon, NewIcon and GlowIcon (created by me!)
- Quit option (default key is 'F10')

VERSION 1.1:
- Supports a second version
- Optimised the code a little bit
- New installer script remembers installation path

The controls for the Hill event are absolutely terrible, so I suggest you
read the included instructions before getting stuck on this event!

The copy protection was a simple speed check on track 1, an early Rob
Northen protection I believe. The second version had a much nastier
copylock, however by using the first versions bootblock it defeated it
nicely :)

This patch took quite some work as all the levels had to be individually
patched. Some might say it wasn't worth all the effort for this game but
never mind :)

Amiga Power reviewed this game in issue 4.  Stuart Campbell gave it 15% and
summed it up by saying, "All style, no content.  A completely intolerable
lump of, to coin a phrase, crap, and if you were thinking of buying it, get
a labotomy.  Now".
