README

Short : HD-Installer for Fighter Bomber Advanced Missions - Activision Type : game/patch Author: Galahad / Fairlight (galahadfairlight@yahoo.co.uk) This install applies to "Fighter Bomber - Advanced Missions" © 1989 Activision Slave requires WHDLoad V15+. Game needs 0.5 MB Of Chipmem & 1.0MB of Fastmem (for preload option) SUPPORTED VERSIONS ------------------ - 1 Disk Original release FEATURES -------- - Full Loading from HD - Lame-o-Protect removed (Copylock and Manual Protection) - System Friendly Imager used - Address error fixed - Pilots Log Load/Save to HD - Designer Load/Save to HD - Quit Option (DEL key) Thanks to Lockdown for the original image EXTRA NOTES ----------- Bit of a late release for this one, but now its done. Done as a separate install from my Fighter Bomber install for the simple reason that the game simply checks for the Copylock protection track on Disk.1 of the original game, and then returns back to this disk and never uses the original Fighter Bomber disks for anything else So for ease of use, it has its own installer. As per the original Fighter Bomber, the language selection for English and French only ever displays English, quite why Vektor Grafix left that in again, knowing full well it was bugged is a mystery to me. Load and save Pilots log to hard drive, and designer loads and saves to hard drive as well. I have but a button wait on the Titlepic, otherwise you'd never get to see it as on the game originally, the time it took it to floppy load the next part enabled you to see the titlepic, whereas WHDLoad loads the next part virtually instantly. Simply press either LEFT/RIGHT Mouse Button or FIRE button to proceed. Pilots log is generated on first runtime. Kindest Regards, Galahad of Fairlight END.
