This install applies to "Hellrun Machine" © 1992 Amiga Fun. Requirements: ------------- This install requires WHDLoad and DIC to be in the path. These programs can be found in the WHDLoad package. To install from a different drive than DF0: select installation mode Expert. The installed game requires 0.5 MB ChipMem (+0.9 MB for preload) It can be quit by pressing Del (key can be changed with Tooltype "QuitKey="). Features: --------- - Full load from HD - Access faults fixed (x3) - DMA wait routines corrected - Blitter waits added (x105, patches can be disabled with CUSTOM1) - Bplcon0 color bit fixed (x32) - Editor suppored (press F7 whole in editor to create the level disk file) - ROM/NI icon (created by JHZ) - Source code included (also on Github, link below) - Quit option that works on 68000 machines (default key is 'F10') I have completely rewritten the patch for this game. The editor is now fully supported and the controls work properly too. The editor uses a lot of keys, main keys are: F1: load level F2: save level F7: create level disk (this must be used before saving a level) E: set exit I: set player -/=: set time To be able to save a level, the time must be set as well as the exit location and the player position. Otherwise an error message will be shown and the level data can't be saved. The level data is stored in file HellrunMachine_Levels, if you use the "Create level disk" option in the editor (F7), this file will be created. If you already have created a level file and use "Create level disk", your level data will be erased! The size of the level data is much smaller than a whole disk image as I really didn't like using 880 k for data that is merely 52 k in size. I have not added any trainers and will mot add any in the future either. The game is way too easy without trainers already.
