DESCRIPTION

    This is v2.0.0 of a hard drive installation package for the
    Software Projects game "Manic Miner".


REQUIREMENTS

    Requires an original copy of the game.

    Requires version 44.10 or later of the standard Amiga "Installer"
    program or a compatible equivalent.

    Requires version 18.0 or later of the WHDLoad package by Bert Jahn.

INSTALLING THE GAME

    Extract all files in the archive to your system and double click
    on the "Install" icon, then follow the instructions given by the
    Installer program.

    The game will be installed to a directory you select on your
    hard drive. You will be alerted if installation fails for any
    reason.


PLAYING THE GAME

    Open the game drawer created during installation and click on the
    "ManicMiner" icon to start the game. A number of trainer and other
    options will be displayed by WHDLoad which you can select.

    These options may also be set using the CUSTOMn tooltypes on the icon.

    CUSTOM1 = 1       : Infinite Lives
    CUSTOM1 = 2       : Invulnerability
    CUSTOM1 = 4       : Infinite Air

    Add the appropriate CUSTOM1 values together to activate multiple trainers.
    All trainers apply to both Manic Miner games whne activated.


    On some configurations, the menu and game can run too fast and have
    control and graphical glitches. The Menu and Game Speed Fix options may
    resolve these issues.

    CUSTOM2 = 1       : Menu Speed Fixes
    CUSTOM2 = 2       : Game Speed Fixes

    Add the appropriate CUSTOM2 values together to activate multiple options.


    The following keys may be used while the game is running:

      F1              : end current life
      F2              : abort current game
      F3              : skip to next level

    When running the installer it is advisable to disable any virus
    checking or debugging software you may have running.
