This patch applies to "Quadralien" © 1988 Logotron/Astral Software.

Two versions are supported:
- Original release (SPS #918)
- Re-release with StarRay demo (SPS #2469)

NOTE: If upgrading from v1.0, any savegames must be renamed to add "SAV-"
at the start of the filename.

REQUIREMENTS

- Original disk or compatible disk image
  (Cracks have not been tested and are not supported)
- Slave requires WHDLoad 19+
- Game requires 512k chip memory
  (+ approx 340k other memory for preload option)

FEATURES

- Game loads fully from HD
- Quit game at any time (default key F10), including on 68000 machines
- OS calls removed
- Saved games stored to HD
- Keyboard routine replaced for better compabitility
- Blitter waits added
- CPU-dependent delays replaced/removed
- Stack moved to fast memory if available
- Rom/New Icons included
- Manual included
- Source code included

WORDS FROM THE AUTHOR

The crash on startup for one version was due to a bizarre "divu" instruction
that got written over the actual code when the game was re-released.
Otherwise both versions are the same!

The keyboard had a rather annoying key-repeat when typing so I have removed
this and generally improved the keyboard routine for better compatibility.
