This patch applies to "Subbuteo" (c) 1990 Goliath - 1 disk.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a registered WHDLoad keyfile
- Slave requires WHDLoad V10+ and RawDIC
- Game requires 512k chip mem (+600k other memory for preload option)

FEATURES:
- Full load from HD
- Copy protection removed (disk check for 68000 CPU's)
- MFM disk image converted to files
- Loads and saves leagues
- Game no longer forces you to run in NTSC screenmode
- Press either fire button to skip the 8 second title delays
- All files can be compressed to save space (FImp, Propack etc) - however
  it only makes sense to compress "Subbuteo.00" and "Subbuteo.01" since
  all the rest are already compressed using Powerpacker
- RomIcon, NewIcon and OS3.5 Colour Icon (created by me!) and 2 Exoticons

- Quit option (default key is 'F10')

You must have a registered version of WHDLoad to play this game!  You can
save about 200k of memory by compressing the 2 files mentioned in the
features list. This patch will NOT work with cracked versions.

This game had quite an interesting copy protection scheme.  It used a trace
vector decoder (similar to Rob Northen's copylock) after several layers of
encryption to check for the original disk.  However, several tricks were
used which would only work on a plain old 68000 so the coder decided that
if you had an upgraded CPU then it would skip over all the protection!  So
in the end it was a one byte change to trick the game into skipping the
protection!  :)
