Heart Of The Alien Redux for Amiga is a reverse-engineered version of the original SEGA CD game. Heart of the Alien is the sequel to the famous Another World (aka Out of this World), the legendary cinematic platformer created by Éric Chahi. The French designer wrote the sequel, but the game was developed by Interplay for the SEGA CD console only. The story continues exactly from the end of Another World, but the point of view is different: the main character is the alien we encounter in the first game. An interesting concept, but apparently, the result was not in line with the original creator's ideas, who wasn’t happy when the game was released.
The game was not a commercial success, so many people didn't even know Another World got a sequel. Many years later, the source code of Heart Of The Alien was released for free, allowing developer Dalibor Javorcek to create an Amiga conversion in 2016. So now we can try this game on a platform where the game has never been officially released.
For all fans of one of the most popular Amiga games ever, you now have the chance to play the sequel. Have fun!
