Arkanoid is an arcade game developed by Taito in 1986 and one of the most popular videogame ever created. It's inspired to Breakout, a videogame created by Atari in 1970, but it's much richer. It adds a lot of power-ups, several types of bricks, much better graphics, more levels and even a story.
The arcade version was a great success, winning the title of best game of 1986, together with big hits like Bubble Bobble.
The version presented by GamesNostalgia is the Amiga version, considered at the time a "perfect" porting of the arcade. Remember to play with the mouse! Can you reach level 33 and beat the boss DOH?
