Historyline: 1914-1918, also known as The Great War: 1914 - 1918, is a turn-based strategy game developed by Blue Byte Studio. It was released for DOS and Amiga in 1992.
The game uses an engine similar to Battle Isle, with the typical hexagonal map and a split screen that allows two players to play simultaneously.
Set in World War I, the game allows the player to choose between the Germans and the French and includes 48 single-player maps and 24 two-player maps.
The game was successful and received many positive reviews, thanks to the advanced AI and the excellent mix between a strategy game and a realist historical simulation.
