Ivanhoe is a medieval side-scrolling beat-em-up created by Ocean in 1990 for Atari ST and Amiga.
The game is based on the medieval legend of Sir Ivanhoe, a knight who fights to restore King Richard the Lionheart to the throne. The game is a platformer where the player controls Ivanhoe as he battles his way through various levels, fighting enemies and collecting treasure.
The gameplay consists of Ivanhoe running and jumping through several levels, fighting enemies such as soldiers and knights with his sword. Ivanhoe can also collect items such as keys, treasure, and power-ups to help him on his quest. The game features colorful graphics and a catchy soundtrack.
It was well-received by critics for its graphics and challenging gameplay but criticized for its lack of variety in the levels and enemies.
