Mortal Kombat 3 is the third game in the popular series of fighting arcades created by Midway. The coin-up was released in 1995. The same year several ports, including the Sega Megadrive/Genesis, were released.
MK3 features a more western-style setting, as well as new moves, including combos, new finishing moves and the "run" button.
This would be the last game of the series to use motion-capture digitized animations.
