Galactic Empire is a sci-fi first-person adventure game created by Coktel Vision and published by Electronic Zoo in 1990. It was released for Atari ST, Amiga, and MS-DOS.
The game is the predecessor to A.G.E. (Advanced Galactic Empire, and it's an adventure played from a first-person perspective in 3D. It should not be confused with Galactic Empire by Doug Carlston for the TSR-80, which was released exactly 10 years before.
In this adventure by Coktel Vision, you will see the world from the cockpit of your vehicle. You will need to collect objects and solve puzzles, speak with NPC, and solve the mystery of the alien planets. The 3D engine is not particularly fast, but this is not a problem since Galactic Empire is not exactly an action game. The concept in the end is original, but the game lacks atmosphere. Despite this, many prefer this to its sequel.
