Battlezone is an arcade game created by Atari and released in 1980. It's the precursor of modern 3D first-person shooters (FPS), using wireframe vector graphics rather than raster graphics. It was very popular and was ported to many platforms, including DOS, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Atari ST, and many others. The DOS version, released in 1983, is quite similar to the original arcade.
