Dogs of War is a shooter created by Vectordean for the Atari ST and then ported to Amiga. It was published in 1989 by Elite.
The game, for one or two players, is heavily inspired by the Rambo and Commando movies of the '80s, and the gameplay is not very different from other shooters such as Ikari Warriors or Commando.
Two mercenaries will have to perform several missions, including saving hostages or recovering stolen material. With the money earned, they can buy additional weapons to be better prepared. Selecting the proper weapons before embarking on a new task is one of the critical points of the game, and it adds more depth to the game.
With better graphics, this title could have been a classic. Nevertheless, it's super fun if you play it in two.
