Elite Advanced is a reverse-engineered version of the famous space trading sim Elite by David Braben and Ian Bell. This new edition was created by AmiGer for the Amiga and released in 2005.
The game itself is not changed; of course, there are only some improvements and bug fixes. There are two new ships: Warrior MkIV and Colubrid II; two new accessories: Climatech Universal Laser Cooler and the M2031A3 Heavy Military Laser; new graphics improvements, for example, the colors of the planets or the equipment screen. There is also a new and more accessible rating points system. This way, you can reach the Elite rank faster. The delay for galactic hyperjump was changed from 30 to 10 seconds, and much more, including several bug fixes.
The original game was already fantastic, and it's a real milestone in the history of computer games. Now you can play it again with some improvements. So what are you waiting for? The planet Lave is waiting for you!
