Frederik Pohl's Gateway is an interactive fiction with graphics created by Legend Entertainment and published in 1992 for MS-DOS. The game is based on the famous Frederik Pohl's sci-fi novels.
This adventure is mostly text-based, with the graphics - created by the artist Chris Moore - useful to give hints or complete the experience of the player. Despite the mechanics, a bit outdated for the early 90s, the game received very positive reviews. Gateway was released as freeware a few years ago.
