Laser Squad is a turn-based tactics video game, developed by Julian Gollop with Target Games and originally released in 1988 for the ZX Spectrum, later ported to the Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, MSX, Amiga and Atari ST.
Laser Squad was highly appreciated by magazines and he received very good reviews. It can be considered a precursor and an inspiration of other tactical games, in particular the X-COM series. The first game UFO: Enemy Unknown was created by Julian Gollop and was initially conceived as a sequel to Laser Squad.
This version released in 1992 for PC MS-DOS has enhanced graphics compared to the 1989 Laser Squad released on the Amiga.
