The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel is an adventure game created by Mythos Software. It was published by EA in 1992 for MS-DOS.
As you can imagine, in this verb-based adventure, you control Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. The famous detective and his friend are trying to solve the mystery of a young actress who was brutally murdered. You must travel across London to search for clues, interrogate people, and find evidence. Fans of the famous detective will recognize many of the book's characters, including Lestrade, Miss Hudson, and Toby the Hound. The game features exceptional VGA 256-color graphics and fantastic MIDI music. Add the story and great gameplay, and you understand why this game is considered one of the best adventures ever.
