Thunder Blade is an arcade released by Sega originally in 1987. The player controls a helicopter, the Gunship Gladiator, and must destroy all enemies using guns and missiles and defeat the dictator.
The arcade was famous because it introduced feedback via the joystick, which vibrated during gameplay, for the first time.
Thunder Blade was ported to many platforms, including Sega Master System, Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore 64, DOS, MSX, ZX Spectrum and more. The Amiga version, released in 1988, was developed by Tiertex.
