Astaroth: The Angel of Death is a fantasy fighting platformer developed by Eldritch the Cat for the Amiga and Atari ST, published in 1989.
In the game, you must travel through Astaroth's catacombs, collecting the nine different mind powers that will allow you to face the final battle with Astaroth herself.
The story of the game is a bit unusual, and the game was most appreciated for the music and sound effects, which were created by Jochen Hippel of Thalion Software. Many also appreciated the graphics, partially inspired by the work of H. R. Giger.
