Colorado is an action-adventure and exploration game created by French company Silmarils in 1990 for the Amiga, Atari ST, and MS-DOS.
The game, designed by André and Louis‑Marie Rocques, takes you back to the year 1800, the times of exploration of the wild west, the times of gold mines, and the Cheyennes. The game primarily uses a side-view, with different scenarios beautifully rendered with the proper choice of colors. The main character can use the inventory shown at the bottom of the screen to change weapons or use other objects. On some levels, the perspective changes to behind-view, for example, when canoeing on the river.
The only problem with this adventure is the inadequate controls, which sometimes make the game challenging. But apart from this, the game is excellent. The graphics and music are perfect; many details contribute to creating the feeling of adventure and exploration of North America in the 19th century.
