European Champions is a football sim created by Audiogenic Software and released by Ocean in 1993 for the Amiga and MS-DOS. One year later it was ported to Atari ST. It is the sequel to Emlyn Hughes International Soccer.
Designed and programmed by Graham Blighe, the game tries to reach a higher level of realism compared to other games popular in the '90s. You can use 3 different kinds of passing modes, you can select the pitch conditions and the wind. Several teams of different countries are available. It received mixed reviews from the magazines, including a 90% from CU Amiga. Believe it or not, some people think it's better than Sensible World of Soccer.
