Tetris Pro is a Tetris variant created by Logic System for Amiga and released for free in the public domain in 1993.
Apparently, it's a simple Tetris "clone", but in reality, Tetris Pro introduces some variations to the original gameplay. The background images represent the most visible element of additions to the gameplay. Each time you complete the lines, part of the background is uncovered, so you have an additional goal, not just to survive as much as possible. Purist Tetris lovers might not like it, but it's an exciting addition. Images include female figures (sexy, but not so much), cartoon characters, still-life pictures, and other funny things. A bit of everything, in fact. The music is excellent, relaxing, and engaging at the same time.
The creators of this game called themselves: Cash (programmer), Art (graphics), and Sid (music). We are not sure about their real names, and we don't know if they created more games, but for sure, they did an excellent job with this one.
Personally, I think this is the best Tetris variant you can find on the Amiga. Try it!
