Die Drachen von Laas is a fantasy text-adventure with graphics created by attic Entertainment and published in 1991 for Amiga, Atari ST, and MS-DOS.
The game was designed and programmed by Guido Henkel and Hans‑Jürgen Brändle, the two founders of attic, authors of Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny and the other games of the series.
Despite the traditional look and feel, the adventure was innovative. You have the traditional text parser, but the game includes character leveling, combat mechanics, and spell systems similar to the ones you usually find in a role-playing game.
Unfortunately, the English version (The Laasian Plague) was planned but never released. The only option is German.
