Die Drachen von Laas is a fantasy interactive fiction with graphics created by attic Entertainment and published in 1991 for Amiga, Atari ST and MS-DOS.
The game was designed and programmed by Guido Henkel and Hans‑Jürgen Brändle, the two founders of attic, authors of the Realms of Arkania series.
The adventure was really innovative. Despite the traditional text parser, the game includes a character leveling system similar to an RPG. Combat and spell systems are also similar to the ones you can find in a role playing game.
Unfortunately, the English version (The Laasian Plague) was planned but never released. The only option is German.
