Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge is the first game of the popular series of racing games using the Lotus brand, developed originally by Magnetic Fields for the Amiga.
Lotus I was published by Gremlins Graphics in 1990, and it was later ported to Atari ST, Commodore 64, and ZX Spectrum. The player can drive a Lotus Esprit Turbo SE across 32 tracks and different scenarios. The game received extremely positive reviews, especially the Amiga version that is considered the best.
It was followed by Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 in 1991, considered by many a true masterpiece.
