Manic Miner is a platform game initially created for the ZX Spectrum by Matthew Smith and released by Software Projects in 1983. The game was ported to many platforms in the following years, including Amstrad CPC in 1985, Commodore 64 in 1986, and Amiga in 1990.
The game was voted #3 Best Game Of All Time in 2004 by Retro Gamer magazine and the second best platformer of All Time in 2007.
