Realms of Arkania: Shadows over Riva is the third and last chapter of the RPG saga created by attic Entertainment. It was based on the German board game "Das Schwarze Auge".
The game, like the predecessors, Realms of Arkania: Star Trail and Realms of Arkania: Blade of Destiny, was designed by Guido Henkel and Hans‑Jürgen Brändle.
Shadows over Riva kept the gameplay of the two previous chapters but introduced enhanced SVGA graphics that significantly improved the look & feel of the game.
