Test Drive is the first racing sim created by Distinctive Software for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. It was initially released in 1987. Later it was ported to Apple II and MS-DOS.
Even if it was not such a sophisticated simulation and was not so technically evolved as Test Drive 2, this title was already promising and probably the most advanced street driving sim you could find in 1987. You can drive a Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Testarossa, or other supercars at several locations, followed by the police. Excellent gameplay, good feeling, and a lot of innovative ideas.
