Test Drive is the first racing sim created by Distinctive Software for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. It was initially released in 1987. Later it was ported to Apple II and MS-DOS.
Even if it was not such a sophisticated simulation and it was not so technically evolved as Test Drive II: The Duel, this title was already auspicious, and probably the most advanced street driving sim you could find in 1987. You can drive a Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Testarossa, or other supercars on several kinds of locations, followed by the police. Great gameplay, good feeling, and a lot of innovative ideas.
