Ultima V: Warriors of Destiny is the fifth entry in the role-playing video game series Ultima. It was released initially in 1988 for DOS, Apple II, and Commodore 64, later followed by other platforms.
It was the last Ultima to be developed on the Apple II and released for this platform. The tone is much darker than the previous chapter and it was appreciated for its realism, time of the day simulation, and interaction with the NPC.

@Maurizio, you discovered an interesting issue: the Amiga version of the game requires a file ending with "." (dot), but Windows OS does not support files ending with ".". So when the game is executed, the graphics can't be found, and the game is corrupted. There is no easy solution. The DOS version (or the Amiga version for Mac) should be ok.
Well ! I'm happy for you. To me, however, when the game starts, the graphics are corrupted making the game useless. Tested on Win 7 64 bit, with updated video driver ... Bah!
