Murder! is a game designed by Creative Materials and published by US Gold in 1990 for the Amiga. The isometric adventure title was also ported for the Atari ST and MS-DOS.

This is not the only title where Creative Materials explores the theme of crime. But it stands on the other side of the threshold in The Godfather (1991), where the player is part of the criminal world. The title was designed and programmed by Lawrence Holland, who would become famous for the great LucasGames flight sims. The immortal is an action RPG developed by Sandcastle and published by Electronic Arts in 1990. The title was initially created for Apple IIgs but was later ported to Amiga, MS-DOS, Atari ST, NES, and Genesis.

The game was designed by Will Harvey, whose only background in video games was creating Zany Golf (1988) for the Apple II. The developer admitted that The Immortal was originally going to be called "Campaign" and that the title was destined to be a multiplayer RPG.

The plot is about a mage who is told his mentor is trapped in a maze. Upon entering it, he must quickly choose whether to befriend a faction of goblins or trolls, antagonizing the group he doesn't choose. The adventure progresses through the protagonist's dreams, which unfold as he sleeps in beds scattered throughout the maze. As the release continues, the player understands that he must make several decisions and that his goal is more diffuse than he thought.

The Gold of the Aztecs

The Gold of the Aztecs is an action-adventure created by Kinetica and published by U.S. Gold in 1990 for the Amiga, Atari ST, and MS-DOS.

The game is set in Mexico. The hero, a sort of Indiana Jones called Brett Conrad, must find an Aztec temple thanks to an old Spanish map he found somewhere. Screen after screen, he has to defeat several enemies and avoid the dangers. The game is similar to Obliterator and Barbarian by Psygnosis. It also has similarities with Colorado by Silmarils. Like those titles, the game is divided into single screens, each designed with beautiful graphics. The hero can use several objects, shown at the bottom of the screen. Each time you change an item, you will see an excellent animation. For example, Brett will put the previous one into a pocket and extract the new one. You can see that the developers put a lot of attention into designing all the animations, frame by frame. The effect is nice, sometimes excessive, which gives a light tone, almost humorous, to the game. The range of movements of the hero is impressive; for each object, he can do many different actions. Apparently, more than 140 character movement was designed.
