Yo! Joe! Beat the Ghosts is a two players platformer created initially for the Amiga by a small company called Scipio and published by Hudson Soft/Blue Byte in 1993. The game was also ported to DOS.
The three programmers, Harald Höppner, Alexander Kurth, and Jens Meggers, did a good job creating this game that looks almost like an arcade with brilliant and colorful graphics. The music, written by Michael Bialas, is a fantastic soundtrack 44 minutes long.
The heroes, the two graffiti artists Joe and Nat, can jump, crawl, kick, beat, slide, and swim. They can attack enemies using different weapons, including Molotov, chainsaws, and nunchakus.
Some people consider "Yo! Joe!" one of the best arcade platformers made for the Amiga. For sure, one of the best co-ops available.
