Body Blows was the Amiga exclusive answer to Street Fighter II, a fighting game created by Team17 and released for AGA and non-AGA Amiga models in 1993. A 2 player mode is available and players can choose between 11 characters. Designed specifically for the Amiga, it supports 256 color graphics, 4 channel stereo music, speech and sound effects. Fighters are controlled with one-button joysticks, with special moves triggered pressing fire and pushing in a certain direction, or holding fire for a few seconds.
The game was followed by 2 sequels: Body Blows Galactic and Ultimate Body Blows.
