Banshee is an Amiga original shoot-em-up, inspired to classic vertical scrolling shooters such as 1942. It was developed by Core Design and released for AGA only machines (Amiga 1200 and CD32) in 1994.
The theme is steampunk, with graphics and animations making use of the 256 colour graphics. You are Sven Svardensvart and you control a heavily armoured plane, trying to survive 4 large levels full of enemies, soldiers or vehicles.
