Banshee is an Amiga original shoot-em-up, inspired by classic vertical scrolling shooters such as 1942: The Pacific Air War and Xevious. It was developed by Core Design and released for AGA-only models (Amiga 1200 and CD32) in 1994.
The theme is steampunk, with graphics and animations using 256 color graphics. You are Sven Svardensvart, and you control a heavily armored plane, trying to survive four huge levels full of enemies, soldiers, and vehicles.
