Lionheart is a side-scrolling hack'n'slash action platformer created by Thalion Software for the Amiga only. It was published in January 1993 and received many positive reviews. The game features parallax scrolling and 3D backgrounds. Although it used the old chipset (non-AGA), many screens featured more than the usual 32 colors, thanks to the advanced techniques used by Thalion's programmers.
Lionheart is considered by many to be the best platform game on the Amiga, thanks to the amazing graphics, excellent music, and great gameplay. And clearly it appears in our Top 20 Games Born on the Amiga chart.
