King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow is the sixth chapter in Sierra's King's Quest series of graphics adventures. The series started with King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown. Written by Roberta Williams and Jane Jensen, King's Quest VI is considered one of the best entry in the entire saga.

    apparently the windows version can play text and speech together while
    the dos has to toggle, the windows version also has a bit of a different
    UI and some POP UP pictures of characters are different. As for the
    overall graphics they aren't changed at all. They might only have a
    higher resolution on windows, not sure. Either way I'm playing the DOS
    version.
