Game Review

Aces of the Pacific is a World War II combat flight simulator developed by Dynamix and released by Sierra for PC MS-DOS in 1992. The game features a lot of US and Japanese aircraft. You can fly single missions or start a career that will put you in several battles of WWII. Historical assignments include the Japanese Navy's surprise Attack on Pearl Harbor.

The game was announced for Amiga, but it was never released for this platform due to technical limitations.

The title's success convinced Sierra to release a sequel called Aces Over Europe, published in 1993.

Congratulations on reviving this game jewel ... It was the 90s, at the time I didn't have a PC but only an expanded amiga 500. I could only read the wonders of this program in specialized magazines. I had a lot of envy, I do not hide it and I must say that I did well ... In fact, thanks to you of "Gamenostalgia", I was finally able to enjoy this simulator that contains several game modes with graphics, considering that it is a game 30 years ago, which is very well respected. Well done gamenostagia, as far as I'm concerned ... I give it a very high rating.
