Fiendish Freddy's Big Top O' Fun is a circus mini-games collection created by Christopher Gray for Mindscape originally for Atari ST, Amiga, and MS-DOS. It was published in 1989. Later it was ported also to ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, and Commodore 64.
In this title, you will have to test your skills in different disciplines, including diving, juggling, trapeze, knife throwing, tightrope, and human cannonball. To make things worse, the evil clown Fiendish Freddy will try to sabotage you.
Despite the atmosphere, really innovative, Fiendish Freddy will remind you of multi-type sports games such as California Games, Summer Games, and Winter Games. Some practice will be required to master these different events. Sometimes they are a bit frustrating because they require some attention to the single pixels. But apart from this, Fiendish Freddy is an addictive title, with nice graphics and some good ideas. Maybe you won't play for days, but you can have a lot of fun, especially if you play with friends.
